"Traveling to Zanzibar was so wonderful. My husband traveled to Zanzibar and it was amazing. The local people are so wonderful and the beaches are nice and peaceful. The tours and safaris were good value for money and well organised. We really enjoyed our trip and we will keep coming back.

Zanzibar Holidays Robertson…… The name alone conjures up visions of a tropical paradise. Images of gleaming azure waters, soft sands, and white beaches flood my mind. The Zanzibar Archipelago, on the other hand, is much more than romantic coastlines and idyllic sunsets. There are a variety of tastes, smells, sights, and experiences that can nourish your soul, revitalize your body, and rekindle your imagination.

Zanzibar is an undeniably beautiful beach resort. It’s the perfect place to get away from it all. It does, however, have a fascinating history and a diverse range of cultures, in addition to being the world’s best adventure and ecotourism destination.

Zanzibar Is Worth a Visit For The Following Reasons.

The beaches in Zanzibar are spectacular.

Zanzibar Holidays Robertson is well-known for its lovely beaches, warm waters, and pleasant weather. It is well-known for its marine life and coral reefs, making it an ideal location for diving and snorkeling. Zanzibar is hard to beat for lazy days on white, crisp sand beaches. Zanzibar, in addition to being a fantastic beach destination, offers a variety of activities for culture vultures, nature lovers, and explorers.

It is distinguished by its culture, history, and architecture.

Zanzibar Is A One-Of-A-Kind Neighborhood.

Zanzibar is a small, undeveloped Tanzanian island with semi-autonomous status. The strong persian, European, Indian, African, and Arabic influences reflect the country’s colorful history and rich heritage. Because of its unique history, Zanzibar Holidays Robertson takes on a new dimension. You will notice an intriguing mix of architectural styles when visiting the mosques and buildings.

There is a distinct culture in Zanzibar.

The Old Turkish Baths, House of Wonders, shops, market stalls, and bazaars all appeal to the senses while telling the story of a long and turbulent past. The way of life of the locals, as well as the nature of everything from furniture and cloth to jewelry and crafts, indicate that Zanzibar is predominantly Islamic. This is where you’ll find the well-known carved teak Zanzibar gate. Taarab, a local music style that combines percussion, Swahili poetry, and rhythms with Middle Eastern, African, Indian, and Western influences, is taught at the Dhow Countries Music Academy.

Is Zanzibar secure? Safety Recommendations

You should keep all of your valuables at home.

Residents of Zanzibar are impoverished, and foreign visitors who can afford to visit are generally considered to be much wealthier than the locals. Keep valuables, such as jewelry or watches, in the hotel’s safe deposit box, as you would in any other location. It is not safe to walk alone late at night along Zanzibar Beach or on deserted streets.

Local customs and practices must be adhered to.

Because they live in a predominantly Muslim country, residents of Zanzibar dress conservatively. We recommend that you dress modestly while on vacation in Zanzibar, especially when visiting remote areas. Women should avoid short skirts and slacks in favor of knee or ankle length skirts. The display of affection in public is frowned upon.

Religious Organizations

Take extra precautions when visiting religious institutions. On Fridays, avoid crowded areas and religious demonstrations, especially in and around Stone Town.

Travel Suggestions for Zanzibar

Because your options are limited outside of hotels and resorts, consider booking an all-inclusive Zanzibar Holidays Robertson package that includes meals and beverages. Spend your vacation in Zanzibar on the North Coast for moderate tides; stay on the East Coast for access to some of the most beautiful beaches, but swimming or snorkeling may have to be replaced with a walk due to tides.

Spend at least one or two nights in Stone Town, immersing yourself in the culture and watching the sunset from a rooftop bar. If you want to take a walking tour of Stone Town, wear comfortable shoes. Check with your travel clinic about vaccines and malaria medication before traveling to Zanzibar. Mosquitoes are a nuisance, so bring insect repellent and keep them away by closing windows at night, covering up after dark, and sleeping under mosquito nets.

Bring sunscreen, a hat, and a lightweight jersey for hot days and a lightweight jersey for cool nights. Bring your own mask and snorkel if you want to go snorkeling instead of relying on the ones provided by your resort. Tipping is appreciated but not required in Zanzibar; bring small bills with you to tip guides, waiters, porters, and housekeepers. The private beaches of Nungwi in the north are less influenced by the tidal range, making it ideal for a less crowded Zanzibar vacation.
